May 6, 2004 Klondike Sponsored Team Summits Mt. Kilimanjaro
Vancouver, BC, Canada: The Rick Hansen Man in Motion Foundation today presented Klondike Kidstuff Inc with a Certificate of Thanks for the company’s generous sponsorship of Man in Motion activities. In particular, Foundation President and CEO Rick Hansen thanked Klondike for having funded a climbing expedition that reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, earlier this year.
In accepting the honor, Klondike’s representative vowed the company would continue its support of community initiatives. The Rick Hansen Man in Motion Foundation is a charitable organization that seeks to accelerate improvements to the quality of life of people with spinal cord injury.
