Canada's “Kids at Play” Area Now Open

Vancouver, BC, Canada: Hundreds of kids and their parents lined up this week to be among the first to experience “Kids at Play”, Canada's newest and largest soft foam play area. A safe, fun environment for toddler and pre-school aged children to climb, crawl, jump and play, the area has already been coined “the best time out” a mall could offer.

Comfortable seating for caregivers borders the colorful play structures, giving parents the opportunity to get a quick rest while their children burn off steam in the play area. “This is such a great break for my son and I,” said Marie Snadler. Sitting beside her, Sandy and Mark Hill agreed: “My [kids] have been begging me to go the mall! This never happened before you put this play area in!,” said Sandy.

The nearly 2000 square foot “Kids at Play”, handcrafted and installed by Klondike Kidstuff Inc., features a variety of transportation themed play sculptures, including a caboose engine, racing car, bridge, Jet Ski and airplane.

The Grand Opening celebration took place July 20 th and was hosted by Jack FM radio. Local police and rescue workers, the mall mascot and several face painters were on hand to add to the already joyous atmosphere.
