Klondike Expands into Mexico
Vancouver, BC, Canada: A police car, cityscape façade, fire hydrant crawl-through and robot slide are among the many colorful soft foam play structures in the custom Big City Toddler Area Klondike has just created for a new Family Entertainment Center opening soon in Mexico City.
The buyers, prominent Mexican entrepreneurs, approached Klondike as a result of a meeting at the IAAPA Amusement and Attractions Show in Orlando, Florida in fall of 2003. “The clients wanted to add an element of uniqueness and excitement to their new entertainment complex and saw large colorful soft foam sculptures as a great way to make their toddler area come alive,” explained Klondike's Director of Sales and Marketing Elissa Arkinstall. “We were delighted to have been selected over the competition. We strive to consistently deliver safe, vibrant designs at great prices and it is obvious that these buyers keyed into our customer-focused philosophy,” said Ms. Arkinstall.
The buyers confirmed, that after examining the competing proposals, they chose Klondike for its superior interactive design and unbeatable price.
This soft foam project, Klondike's first in Mexico, represents a clear extension of the company's sales territory. The fully integrated manufacturer already serves customers in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia.
For those interested, Klondike will be attending the upcoming IAAPA 2004 show in Orlando November 17 to 20th. Please contact Klondike for more information.
