Klondike announced today that it’s “Scientific Research & Development” program (the industry’s only such program) has resulted in an industry changing technological breakthrough.

Last week Klondike formally launched the only calibrated and exact  “design to product conversion” process in the industry. This process is based on directly feeding numerically readable plan designs into a fully integrated Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine assembly, which automatically carves the programmed soft foam project design to exact, high edge dimensions. This replaces the industry norm of manual carving, which is slow and subject to significant human error and deviations in “design to product conversion.”

Klondike has also simultaneously launched:

(I) The industry’s only fully mechanized material application process, calibrated for uniform and precise dispersal of rubber, foam and coatings. This eliminates the slow, repetitive, wasteful, and deviation-prone hand applications of these materials.

(II) The industry’s only mechanized multi-station, multi-angle air brushing assembly, with calibrated, ratio-based, pressure dispersion. This is much faster than manual airbrushing, and ensures a much more vibrant, higher gloss and more durable finish.

Over 90% of the hundreds of play areas now claimed by former middlemen companies as their “creations” or “installations” were in fact built by Klondike and other manufacturers.
